Present at phase one: Niki, Matt Stuart
Met at Eastside Projects to witness the two Liam Gillick "plays"
Decided that the meeting would be in different phases tonight.
Walked from ESP to Millennium Point cafe, discussing art spaces in Birmingham, especially Grand Union.
Phase Two: Millennium Point cafe, present as above, Start 16:58
Discussed the Zero Point Mentions Tumblr, and what mentions had been made, and whether we had been remembering.
Matt read out Niki's recent mentions
(Prior to above: discussed the ZP Skype meetings - did one happen on 1st December? Stuart said he had a fragmented and extended discussion with Ellie)
Stuart discussed the fact that his supervisor wanted Zero Point removed from his thesis. He refused.
Thesis as a collaboration with supervisor
(Ana arrived)
Stuart would like to revisit the texts we wrote before the second AGM.
Ana asked if we had talked about re-enacting AGM
In reference to ESP - Bad acting
We have still not completed transcription of 1st AGM
Stuart willing to edit if Dan ever finished his part.
Next AGM under water
Channel tunnel - how long?
2 part AGM:
Some talk of Theme Parks - Stuart's never been to one.
Possible meeting on an Octopus
The price of space tourism
Should we revert to weekly OLM?
Stuart suggested this would serve as a reminder that we are still in the group.
Does this characterise what OLMs are for?
Is there a random meeting generator we could use? Delegate responsibility.
Cut-ups of previous ZP statements - Burroughs cut-ups - messages from the future.
What factors influence decisions to have meetings?
Train to Coventry
Present: Ana Stuart Niki
Stu really aware how public it is to have a meeting on a train.
Tried to contact Matt on Skype but he wasn't on.
Never been on a train during ZP meeting? Unless partly on a Leicester meeting? Seems not.
Train a bit small - narrow aisle - feels odd to be meeting here (Brainwashed crisps) as not very business like.
Are we avoiding saying what we're meeting about because we're in public?
Interesting to overhear business meetings but might not be able to tell what product it is.
Bit quick to get into the meeting too.
